Shauna Cox, MT-BC

Shauna Cox is a Board-Certified Music Therapist with advanced training in Neurologic Music Therapy and Hospice and Palliative Music Therapy. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Music Therapy from Cleveland State University and has been practicing in Florida since 2020.

Shauna brings a wide range of clinical experience, having worked in diverse settings including schools, assisted living facilities, psychiatric care, and hospitals. She has supported clients across the lifespan and with varying diagnoses, always approaching her work with a person-centered perspective. Her therapeutic approach focuses on building meaningful connections and helping individuals reach their goals through the power of music.

Outside of her clinical work, Shauna enjoys traveling, singing in a local choir, reading, exploring the outdoors, and cozy nights in with her cat.
