Hannah Jelinek, M.S., MT-BC, RMHCI
Hannah is a Board-Certified Music Therapist and Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern approaching full-licensure in January. She earned her Bachelor of Music in Music Therapy from Pacific University in Oregon and her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Hodges University in Florida.
Hannah believes that healing begins in relationship. Her approach to music therapy is relational, trauma-informed, and client-led—rooted in safety, trust, and the conviction that each person already carries the seeds of growth and wholeness within themselves. Through music, mindfulness, and evidence-informed practices, she creates space for clients to explore emotions, discover resilience, and reconnect with their innate capacity for goodness and meaning.
Her clinical work has spanned inpatient senior psychiatric care, residential substance use treatment, non-profit social services, adolescent group homes, assisted living and elder care, schools, and special education. Across these diverse settings, Hannah has walked alongside children, adolescents, and adults navigating trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, neurodiversity, and complex life transitions. She approaches each person with deep respect, authenticity, and compassion—holding hope when it feels out of reach and honoring the unique story each client brings.
Outside of her work, Hannah enjoys time with her husband Levi, their daughter Mila, and their pets, Ivy and Elphaba. She finds joy in cooking, reading memoirs, adventuring with her family, and listening to true crime podcasts.
