Internship Cycles
Fall: August- February (applications due 3/30, we will review by 4/15)
Winter: January –June (applications due 8/30, we will review by 9/15)
Summer: June - November (applications due 1/30, we will review by 2/15)
GCMT offers a unique internship experience that will expose interns to a wide variety of populations. Interns will spend their time both in private practice and the special education setting, leading both group and individual sessions and learning to work as a team with other therapy and education professionals. In addition, interns will have an immersive experience expanding their client base to those in the foster/adoptive community, assisted living facilities, adult day facilities, and other community centers. GCMT exposes interns to learning the ins and outs of a private practice and how to establish music therapy in a growing community. $100/month stipend.
