Julia Sloan, Music Therapy Intern
Julia is from Port Charlotte, Florida and attended Florida Gulf Coast University. During her time at FGCU, she studied Music Therapy with trumpet being her primary instrument. Two of her favorite memories while being at FGCU would be going to Thailand for a Music Therapy study abroad trip, as well as being able to perform alongside the FGCU Wind Ensemble at Carnegie Hall in New York.
Throughout her collegiate career, she has developed a love for learning about the lives of each individual she works with and learning how to support each of them both clinically and musically. She is excited to continue her clinical learning here at Gulf Coast Music Therapy and hopes to create special connections with those she meets.
