Emmy Grate, Music Therapy Intern
Emmy joins GCMT as an intern, having completed her Bachelor’s in Music Therapy from Indiana Wesleyan University. She recently relocated to Venice with her family, having lived in Grand Rapids, Michigan beforehand. Her principal instrument is voice, with her minor instrument in piano. She loves to relax with her family and her dog in her free time and has been enjoying exploring the Sarasota are. She is also well versed in theatrical world, having played the parts of Dojo in Suessical, Jan in Grease, Sister Mary Amnesia in Nunsense, and Lily St. Regis in Annie. Emmy’s experience in practicum has given her a wide variety of experiences, mainly centered in working with children with disabilities.
