Alyssa Adamson, MT-BC, Music Together Teacher
Alyssa has been singing since she could talk. She grew up in Venice, FL, where she participated in community theatre and community choirs throughout her childhood. Alyssa has a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance from Florida Southern College and a Master of Music in Music Therapy from Florida State University. She completed her internship with Gulf Coast Music Therapy!! Alyssa is now beginning her ninth year teaching Elementary Music. She currently teaches at Pine View School, the school from which she graduated, where she will now also be teaching Sixth Grade Choir. Alyssa is also the Youth Director for the Venice Chorale’s Youth Chorus.
Alyssa considers her biggest accomplishment in life being a mom and a stepmom. When her daughter was born with a cleft palate, Alyssa turned to her music therapy roots and began interacting with her baby through music daily. Alyssa has seen her own child connect with music and grow through musical experiences time and time again, and knows that your kiddos will love Music Together just as much as her daughter does!
