About Us
Gulf Coast Music Therapy was founded in 2006 by Virginia Bibler upon return to her hometown after graduating from The Florida State University. GCMT has provided music therapy services as a private practice to Manatee and Sarasota counties for over 18 years. We have partnered with Sarasota Memorial Hospital, Tidewell Hospice, Jewish Family and Children's Services, Kobernick Anchin Benderson Senior Community, Beyond The Spectrum, Manasota B.U.D.S, The Haven, Selby Preschool, Manatee County Schools, FACE Autism, The Salvation Army, Suncoast Blues Society and many others to provide Music Therapy Services to the community. In addition, GCMT offers group music therapy, individual music therapy, and adapted lessons for individuals of all ages and abilities. GCMT accepts CMS and Sunshine Medicaid and the Family Empowerment Scholarship for Unique Abilities.
